Avengers Infinity War

I want to say first that I was waiting for this movie for a long time, like a lot of people. And since the trailers, I was even more dying to see it. It came out on Wednesday, because movies come out on Wednesday in France, but I was going to see it with my sister, so I had to wait until the weekend to see it. Then, I found out that this particular week she starts working on Saturdays. We were going to see it on Sunday but for some reason we couldn’t, and finally we got to see it today.

We faced the cold weather and the rain and get to the cinema. We got lucky and avoided any spoilers until then. We arrived at the theater, waiting in line for the movie. There was quite a long line for a morning screening. There we were finally. The movie was about to start. Commercials, blabla.

I try to write a quick no spoiler review but it is hard to talk about this movie without talking about what happens to the characters.

The movie basically takes off after Thor Ragnarok. Thor and Loki face Thanos who is looking for the infinity stones. Thanos then sends his “children” to find the infinity stones that are in earth. And so the quest of Thanos begins. I say the quest of Thanos because what I thought was great in the movie is that the villain is the center of the story. 

We already know all the heroes through their own movies. In this movie, we get to know a little bit more about Thanos and his agenda. I loved seeing all these beloved characters get together and interacting with one another. 

It was the biggest movie crossover ever. It is the first movie of its kind. A movie that ends a long saga of movies of different characters, in the same universe and that is more than satisfying. This movie made history. Yep. Never seen anything like it. I love superheroes. I love superheroes stories and movies. And to be honest, I grew up more with the DC comics superheroes but there is no denying that in the movie universe, Marvel is way above.

To conclude, that movie was all you want from a movie. But to understand it, you better have watched most of the MCU movie. It is a part of a saga. But it had emotion, great characters, or at least interesting, it had great action, good driving force, good humor, and a great villain. I didn’t expect to, but I did like Thanos a lot. That was by far, the best Avengers movie for me. They succeeded in making an enjoyable, interesting, emotional and unexpected movie with so much characters. Thank you very much Disney for this movie.

Black Panther

J’ai vu le film très attendu de Marvel :  Black Panther. J’ai juste ADORÉ ! Je l’ai vu la semaine de la sortie mais je n’ai eu le temps de poster l’article que maintenant. Donc voilà !

Le film reprend donc après Captain America Civila War. T’Challa devient roi après la mort de son père et nous avons le bonheur de voir Wakanda dans toute sa splendeur. Un événement concernant un ancien ennemi les pousse à agir pour éviter que leur pouvoir et leur technologie ne soit découverte.

Le casting, dans sa globalité est juste super. Tous les acteurs ont une présence remarquable et font preuve d’un jeu exceptionnel. 

T’Challa est magnifiquement interprété par Chadwick Boseman. J’ai juste adoré la subtilité avec laquelle il a joué le rôle du prince devenu roi. Il a l’étoffe d’un roi. J’ai adoré sa relation avec sa sœur Shuri, interprétée par Letitia Wright.

D’ailleurs Shuri est sûrement mon personnage préféré. Elle était juste adorable et super amusante. Et c’est en grande partie en raison des personnages et de leurs relations que j’ai adoré le film.

J’avais de grandes attentes pour ce film, et je n’ai pas été déçue.

À la fin du film, j’avais ressenti ce sentiment que je n’ai pas ressenti depuis très longtemps. Bien sûr, il y eu beaucoup d’autres films que j’ai adoré mais pour la première fois depuis longtemps, j’avais cette même sensation que j’avais quand j’étais petite et que je venais de voir un film que j’avais adoré. 

Je voulais tout de suite le revoir. J’avais l’impression que les personnages faisaient dorénavant partie de moi. J’ai eu une forte connexion avec la majorité des personnages, c’est pourquoi j’ai beaucoup aimé ce film. C’est sûrement le film Marvel que j’ai préféré.

Les thèmes du film sont aussi très profonds et adressés de manière franche et directe. J’ai beaucoup apprécié cet aspect très important du film.

J’ai donc adoré ce film et je suis donc ravie du succès qu’il connait. C’est un film révolutionnaire, non seulement au vu de la culture et des rôles féminins très bien écrits mais aussi avec une histoire et des personnages très bien réalisés. C’est définitivement un must-see !
